The SALVARAT AND AGROCHIMICA TOSCANA Company was founded in 1991, from the union of two hitherto separate entities, "Salvarat" and "Agrochimica Toscana," led from 1957 to 1991 by Salvi Salvio (father of the current Owner), an expert operator in the field of pest control, disinfection and rodent control, both agricultural and industrial; he was succeeded at the helm by his son Alessandro Salvi.

In just a few years, Salvarat e Agrochimica Toscana grew, gaining ever larger market shares until it carved out its own role among the leading companies in the sector in central Italy.
In mid-2015 the turning point that will lead to the new transformation: the "Salvarat e Agrochimica Toscana di Salvi A." is transformed and from January 1, 2016 becomes SALVARAT S.r.l.
